Description
- Innovative exterior fabrics balance protection, maneuverability, and breathability: Pertex Quantum Air fabric has lightweight weather-resistance, thanks to a water-repellent DWR treatment, and breathability that allows it to hold warmth when you are stopped or standing while dumping warmer air when output increases. Articulated sleeves further promote an uninhibited range of motion.
- Body mapped insulation maintains warmth and aids in thermoregulation: Rab employs zoned construction to ensure that you get insulating warmth where you need it with better breathability and less bulk where you don't. The jacket has 60g PrimaLoft Gold Active partially recycled insulation through the front, the back, the top of the sleeves and the collar with a lighter weight 40g version through the sides, under the arms, and in the hood.
- An assortment of other performance-oriented details and features: A close-fitting hood can be worn comfortably beneath a helmet and has an elastic gathering to ensure a snug fit, a full-length front zipper helps to keep out the elements and allows for venting, a zippered interior chest pocket and zippered external pockets provide storage and a place to get hands out of the cold, and elastic cuffs and a single side hem adjustment enable you to dial in fit. The chest pocket also doubles as a stuff sack for easy packing!
How does it fit?
The Men's Xenair Alpine Light Insulated Jacket has a regular fit that allows for comfortably layering beneath it or pulling a protective hardshell on over top. Neither slim nor loose, Rab's regular fit is contoured with room for movement.
