The Salewa Women's Puez Winter Mid PTX is built to tackle everything from slushy streets to icy trails! Lightweight insulation, reliable waterproofing, and aggressive traction all meet in a supportive, high-cut design for all-day comfort and performance.
Description
- Insulated warmth for cold-weather comfort: The boot gets its warmth from Primaloft insulation built into the upper. Extra insulation in the collar and upper part of the tongue helps lock down warmth around your ankles. The high-cut design helps ensure slush and snow don't slip over top of the boot. Even the footbed is felt-lined to help keep that icy feeling away from your toes.
- Salewa's 3F system creates an anatomical, precision fit: Salewa's 3F system uses a "Y"-shaped Kevlar cable connection to spread the lacing three-dimensionally, connecting the instep area with the sole and heel for better flexibility and support. The climbing-style lacing offers adjustment in the toe area of the boot, further dialing in the fit.
- Durable construction with waterproof protection: The rugged microfiber upper is highly abrasion-resistant while being far more breathable and flexible than leather. There's also a reinforced rand and toe cap to extend the boots' durability and protection. The Powertex waterproof/breathable membrane throughout the upper keeps your foot dry and comfortable.
- Underfoot support and performance for whatever the trail serves up: An ergonomic EVA midsole offers low-bulk cushioning and the Pomoca Apline Trekker rubber outsole has grippy, strategically-placed lugs to keep you upright even in sloppy conditions while shedding debris. It's also extremely durable so it can stand up to seasons of use.
