The exceptionally warm The North Face Women's Sierra Peak Hooded Jacket is loftily filled with compressible 800-power goose down insulation. Its understated aesthetics allow it to easily crossover from backcountry use to wearing around town.
The down insulation is protected by a lightweight, durable, and wind-resistant nylon exterior. Warmth and protection is extended by a built-in adjustable, elastic-bound hood. Other features include a full-length front zipper, elastic cuffs, a drawcord-adjustable hem, and handwarmer pockets that are set strategically high so they can be accessed even if you're carrying a backpack. One of the pockets also doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket when it's not being worn.
