A versatile performer for mountaineering and high-alpine adventures, The North Face Women's Summit Series Chamlang FUTURELIGHT Pant is fully waterproof with outer leg vents for breathability and leg cuffs that can accommodate a wide variety of boots.
The main body of the pant is made of 100% recycled nylon 3L FUTURELIGHT fabric that's both durable and waterproof/breathable. Seam-sealed construction and a DWR finish ensure complete weather protection. The darted waist has an integrated belt and a knit back panel that adds some stretch for a comfortable fit. Durable high-denier kick patches and internal cuffs offer puncture and abrasion resistance.
The pant is designed to be compatible with a harness and mountaineering or alpine boots. A thigh pocket on the right can be accessed when wearing a harness, and has a YKK AquaGuard zipper for weather protection, an internal gear loop, and an additional pouch for storage. The leg cuffs feature stretch fabric, an internal gaiter, a drawcord for adjustability, and gripper tape for a seamless fit. The opening at the back of the cuff has a water-resistant, reverse-coil zip and adjustable snap closure. Additional features include outer leg vents with YKK AquaGuard zippers, and the zipper on the right vent extends to the waist for easy on/off.
