The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite NXT MAX offers ultralight, year-round comfort with space to sprawl thanks to the full rectangular design. With a 4.5 R-value, 3-inch inflated thickness, and compact packability, it's perfect for backcountry use.
Description
- Warm, lightweight, and quiet for a good night's sleep: Weighing in a little over a pound between the two sizes, Therm-a-Rest has refined the pad's construction to minimize noise and deliver an R-value of 4.5, which is warm enough for year-round use. Therm-a-Rest achieves this with two layers of triangular baffles arranged to reduce convective heat loss and a featherweight reflective film that redirects radiant heat towards your body rather than allowing it to dissipate.
- Sleeping comfort that adjusts to your preferences: The same baffles that help slow heat loss also create an internal structure that stabilizes the pad no matter how you toss and turn at night. When fully inflated the pad is three inches thick, offering plenty of space between you and the ground. Prefer a cushier sleeping surface? Just use the WingLock valve to release air and make micro-adjustments even when laying on the pad.
- Space-saving, packable construction: Low bulk materials help the pad pack down to about the size of a conventional one-liter water bottle, leaving you plenty of pack space for other essentials.
Sizing, inflation and storage
The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite NXT MAX is available in two sizes; Regular Wide (72" x 25") and Large (77" x 25"). A stuff sack is included for easy packing and storage, as well as an inflation sack for moisture-free inflation and a repair kit. Paired with the inflation sack, the WingLock valve delivers fast one-way inflation. A dedicated deflation mode lets you quickly purge air and get back on the trail.
