The Topo Athletic Women's Terraventure 5 trail running shoe is an excellent balance of weight, durability, and responsiveness. Equipped with a protective rock plate, moderate cushioning, and confident traction, the shoe tackles technical terrain with ease.
Description
- Breathable and abrasion-resistant upper design: The shoe's tightly-woven mesh upper hugs your foot without feeling restrictive. It provides great breathability while also holding up well to the wear-and-tear of life on the trail. A built-in attachment system allows you to secure a gaiter (sold separately) to help keep out dust and debris.
- Balanced cushioning and protection for all-around trail use: Whether you're running trails or doing adventurous hiking, a moderately cushioned midsole delivers responsive "feel" while helping to reduce fatigue. An imbedded forefoot rock plate bolsters underfoot protection from rocks and roots.
- Foot-shaped fit for balanced, natural gait: The signature Topo fit has a roomy toe box to keep your toes in their natural position without pinching or rubbing while providing security in the midfoot and heel so you feel agile and confident on varied terrain.
- Stable grip wherever you go: You'll be ready for any terrain with Vibram's premium Megagrip rubber outsole providing superior traction and slip resistance on a wide variety of trail surfaces. With a 25mm heel and a 22mm forefoot, the shoe has a low 3mm drop.
