The ultra-lightweight Ultimate Direction Race Vest 6.0 running delivers a close, performance-oriented fit, comfortably carries included water flasks, and streamlined minimalist storage for key essentials.

The pack is constructed of lightweight and breathable stretch fabrics. To ensure a proper fit, the vest is available in multiple sizes that based on your chest measurement (at its widest point). The Small size best fits 23"-32" chest sizes, the Medium best fits 30"-39" chest sizes, and the Large best fits 37"-46" chests. Dual sternum straps with sliding adjustability help to fine-tune fit and an integrated Comfort Cinch 3.0 system provides on-the-go fit adjustability across the small of your back without applying undue pressure to your lats or restricting your breathing.

On the chest portion of the harness there are twin water bottle pockets which conveniently secure soft-sided or hard-sided water bottles. Ultimate Direction includes two soft-sided Body Bottle III 500 soft flasks which together provide 1000ml of at-the-ready hydration. Two smaller harness pockets, including one that is water-resistant, offer streamlined "up front" storage. A large rear compartment lets you stash discarded layers or carry up to a 2L reservoir (hydration system sold separately). A bungee system enables you to lash gear externally. Rear attachment systems allows you to carry "foldable" trekking poles in a horizontal fashion that reduces "bounce" and keeps poles at the ready but out of your way. If you prefer to carry poles up front, there are also attachment points that allow you to lash them directly to the harness.
