A budget-friendly boot that doesn't skimp on trail performance, the Vasque Men's Talus AT UltraDry combines rugged durability with the added comfort of synthetic materials, has a soft, athletic midsole, and employs a protective waterproof lining.
The upper's hybrid construction of waterproof nubuck leather and abrasion-resistant mesh strikes a nice balance between durability, stability, and breathability. This also enables the boot to break-in much faster than a traditional full-leather boot. An UltraDry membrane ensures waterproof protection.
Underfoot a molded EVA midsole, TPU shank, and dual-density EVA footbed deliver support, balance, and cushioning to lessen fatigue on long hikes. Vasque uses its Perpetuum last to create a good fit for steady, long distance hiking, and the straight line of this design is comfortable for flatter feet. The durable rubber Vibram outsole features a heel edge to provide better traction on steep descents.
