The jacket's 20D nylon ripstop fabric provides mechanical stretch wind-resistance and water-repellency at a weight of just 3.7 ounces. There are certainly more weather-resistant pieces but the Airshed Pullover is ideal when you're working hard and just need the slightest bit of help in maintaining warmth. The quarter-length zip eases putting on and taking off the jacket and also provides venting. The fabric dries fast if and when it becomes wet.
Other features include reflectivity stretch knit cuffs a stretch knit hem and a zippered chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket.
