Patagonia's Traceable Down is verified by an independent third-party organization to be ethically sourced from geese that are not live-plucked or used in foie gras production. A long hem and a full insulated hood further enhance warmth. The half-length front zipper makes it easy to take the jacket on and off provides ventilation when needed and provides greater thermal efficiency than a full-length zipper.
