Bright, compact, and adventure-ready, the Petzl ACTIK headlamp delivers 450 lumens of versatile lighting for hiking, running, and camping, complete with multiple beam modes and a red light to preserve night vision.

Description

Two beam styles for proximity and distance vision: You can set the main white light to either a wide flood-style beam or a mixed beam that includes a focused lens for distance vision. Both beam styles light up your immediate area with up to 450 lumens for comfortable close-up vision and the ability to see the terrain around you. The white beam has three brightness settings to adapt to various light levels.
Red color lighting available when conditions call for it: You can toggle to a continuous red light setting to preserve night vision and reduces eye strain if you're reading or select a strobe red light setting for emergency signaling.
Easy to use and adjust: A single button controls the brightness and color selection. A battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time it's turned on or off. The housing tilts to adjust the angle of the light and the adjustable elastic headband is detachable and washable. A phosphorescent reflector produces a gentle glow in the dark, making it easy to find the headlamp when needed.
Lightweight and compact for comfortable use: The headlamp weighs in at about 3.5 ounces and adds hardly anything to your pack weight. It also has a lock function to prevent it from accidentally turning on in transit or storage to ensure it's ready for use when you need it.

Power options

The Actik comes with three AAA/LR03 batteries, but it's also compatible with Petzl's rechargeable CORE battery (sold separately). The headlamp automatically detects the type of power source and adjusts the lighting for optimal performance.
