The powerful and compact Petzl ACTIK CORE packs up to 625 lumens into a lightweight and comfortable headlamp that offers multiple beam patterns, a red-light mode, and a rechargeable battery for dependable performance during any adventure.

Description

Two beam styles for proximity and distance vision: You can set the main white light to either a wide flood-style beam or a mixed beam that includes a focused lens for distance vision. Both beam styles light up your immediate area with up to 625 lumens for comfortable close-up vision and the ability to see the terrain around you. The white beam has three brightness settings to adapt to various light levels.
Hybrid power options for versatility during extended use: The included CORE rechargeable battery has a USB-C charge port (charging cable not included). But if you find yourself without a reliable way to top off the battery, the headlamp can also use three standard AAA/LR03 batteries. Note that the maximum output with standard batteries is 450 lumens.
Red color lighting available when conditions call for it: You can toggle to a continuous red light setting to preserve night vision and reduces eye strain if you're reading or select a strobe red light setting for emergency signaling.
Easy to use and adjust: A single button controls the brightness and color selection. A battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time it's turned on or off. The housing tilts to adjust the angle of the light and the adjustable elastic headband is detachable and washable. A phosphorescent reflector produces a gentle glow in the dark, making it easy to find the headlamp when needed.
Lightweight and compact for comfortable use: The headlamp weighs in at about 3.1 ounces and adds hardly anything to your pack weight. It also has a lock function to prevent it from accidentally turning on in transit or storage to ensure it's ready for use when you need it.
