The Petzl Swift RL is an ultra-powerful and rechargeable lighting option for ultra runners, trail runners, hikers, and climbers. It casts a super bright light of up to 1200 lumens and has multiple beam settings and built-in technology that allows it to automatically adjust for optional lighting in varied conditions.

Description

Adaptable, responsive technology: Petzl's Reactive Lighting employs an integrated light sensor that measures and analyzes reflected light, instantly and automatically adjusts the headlamp's beam pattern (wide and mixed flood/focused) and light output to your needs. Lighting adjusts automatically based on the distance of the object in front of you and it adjusts so quickly and indiscernibly that all you'll notice is that your headlamp gives you the illumination you need in varying conditions. If you're hiking or running and looking toward the ground in front of you, the beam is wide and at medium strength in order to properly illuminate obstacles in your path. When lifting your head to see further into the distance, the light output increases and becomes more focused. You can also disable the self-adjusting feature if not wanted in a given situation.
Mixed beam provides dynamic lighting: The headlamp provides high-performance illumination for both close-up proximity vision and broader long-distance views. The maximum brightness of 1200 lumens truly lights up the night. You can toggle easily between Reactive and standard lighting options with multiple brightness settings in the standard mode.
Lightweight and compact for comfortable use: The headlamp weighs just 3.8 ounces and adds hardly anything to your pack weight. The ultra-thin headband has comfort foam portions that can be removed if you want to drop weight even further.
Red lighting adds versatility: The red-light setting preserves night vision and can be set to continuous or pulsed on a strobe setting for emergency signaling.
Easy to use and adjust: A single button controls the brightness and color selection. The lithium-ion 2250 mAh rechargeable battery easily repowers the headlamp with its USB-C charging cable. A full recharge takes approximately 5 hours and provides a minimum burn time of 7-hours on a medium setting. A battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time it's turned on or off.
Weather-resistant performance: The headlamp's IPX4 rating means that the housing is protected against splashing water and precipitation. NOTE that it is not submersible.
