The incredibly compact and lightweight Petzl Zipka headlamp offers 300 Lumens of brightness and a phosphorescent reflector to help you find it in the dark. It uses a unique, self-adjusting retractable cord design to keep weight below 2.5 ounces!

A large electronic push-button makes the headlamp simple to operate. The LED bulb produces a maximum brightness of 250 Lumens and offers a flood beam for proximity lighting and moderately-aerobic activities. A red light grants illumination that doesn’t ruin your night vision while a phosphorescent reflector helps you find the headlamp in the dark of your tent or campsite.

The Zipka is powered by three included Alkaline AAA batteries and will also accept rechargeable Ni-MH batteries in size AAA or the Petzl CORE rechargeable battery (sold separately).

Available in your choice of color options, the Petzl Zipka headlamp is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.

The unique design of the Zipka makes for a tiny package that doesn’t get tangled up in a pack pocket. Users with longer hair do need to take a little more care, but over a hat or with strategic placement, it goes on and off smoothly. I especially love the glow-in-dark ring on the front that makes it easy to find in a dark tent.

Nice compact size with lots of light

Great little unit with a pretty good zippy strap. Cool little green glow light stays on after the main light has been on for a bit, helps you find it in the dark. 3 brightness settings. Red light option always nice.

Dislikes

If you have long hair watch out. It'll zip and snag your hair if you arent careful or put a hat on.
