The jacket's Pertex Quantum Pro outer fabric provides water-resistant protection and long-term durability. Hydrophobic 800-fill certified European goose down insulation delivers lightweight compressible warmth. Unlike traditional untreated down it can keep on insulating even if it becomes damp or wet. A helmet-compatible hood with an integrated brim enhances the overall versatility and warmth of the jacket.
Other features include a full-length front zipper an internal zipper baffle a drawcord-adjustable hem stretch cuffs high-set zippered hand warmer pockets and a zippered internal chest pocket. A stuff sack is included to safely stow the jacket in your pack when you aren't wearing it.
The exterior of the jacket is constructed of pre-baffled Pertex Quantum Infinity Weave fabric. Beneath that windproof breathable shell fabric 750-fill ethically-sourced European goose down insulation delivers warmth without excessive bulk or weight. Unlike traditional down the jacket's insulation has received a hydrophobic treatment that helps it stay dry longer dry faster if it should become wet and most importantly continue to insulate even if when damp or wet. An insulated adjustable hood with a tall protective collar extends coverage and bolsters warmth. The helmet-compatible hood also has an integrated brim.
Other features include stretch cuffs an insulated baffle behind the full-length front zipper and two high-set hand pockets that allow access even if you're wearing a backpack or a harness. A stuff sack is also included so you can safely stow the jacket in your pack when not in use.
