Insulated with recycled synthetic insulation the Rab Men's Xenon Jacket provides ultra-lightweight warmth for cold weather backpacking or alpine climbing. The insulation combines with ripstop fabrics to create an extremely compressible jacket that packs cozy warmth on cold mountain days.

The jacket has an Atmos ripstop outer which offers wind-resistance and protects the Stratus 60g recycled insulation beneath it. This low-profile synthetic delivers compressible warmth even when wet. An insulated stretch bound hood extends coverage and enhances warmth.

Other features include a two-way full-length water-resistant front zipper a drawcord-adjustable hem elastic cuffs two zippered hand pockets and an internal zippered pocket that doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket.

Available in your choice of size and color options the Rab Men's Xenon Jacket has a regular fit that allows you to wear it comfortably over baselayers and midlayers.

My Go-To Jacket

The Xenon is a versatile and warm jacket that is always in my pack. - Light, but warm - Stops the wind - Handy pockets - A reliable jacket that does not need TLC - Looks and feels well made

Dislikes

Selecting the correct size may difficult. I'm 6', 190lbs, and got a medium. The jacket is a little snug around the hem, but is perfect everywhere else (For reference: I'm usually a large in Patagonia sizing).

Wanted the microlight Alpine, but this is almost as good
