Description

Recycled Pertex exterior balances weight, performance, and durability: A 30D Pertex Quantum with NetPlus exterior is made of a yarn that utilizes traceable post-consumer recycled fishing nets and has a fluorocarbon-free durable water-repellent treatment to help fend off light precipitation. It has a really soft feel and does a great job of fending off wind while maintaining breathability to dump excess interior heat.
Weather-resistant down insulation provides lightweight, low-bulk warmth: Recycled 700 fill-power down insulation with a fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish provides confident warmth while retaining its insulating qualities even in wet or damp conditions. Zoned baffle construction promotes mobility and ensures consistent warmth by keeping the insulation from migrating and creating cold spots.
An assortment of other performance-oriented details and features: An adjustable, insulated hood extends protection, and a malleable wired peak keeps your view uninhibited. The full-length front zipper is backed up an insulated rear baffle. Elastic cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem help to seal out the cold and fine-tune fit. Two front pockets are situated beneath the insulated baffles to maximize warmth for your hands and set high for accessibility even if you're carrying a pack or wearing a harness. A zippered chest pocket safely stows small essentials and one of the hand pockets doubles as a stuff sack when you aren't wearing the jacket.
