Description

Salewa's 3F system creates an anatomical, precision fit: Mirroring the asymmetry of the human foot and resulting in less movement in the heel, less rubbing, and less potential for blisters, a high-cut flexible collar provides stability but still enables your ankle to flex comfortably and maintain an agile stride. A "Y"-shaped wire connection spreads the lacing three-dimensionally to hug the entire foot and better control the movement of the heel.
The upper's hybrid construction strikes a balance between weight, durability, stability, and maneuverability: The boot's1.6mm suede leather upper provides long-term durability and couples with abrasion-resistant nylon fabric to reduce rigidity and break-in time. A premium waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps your foot dry and comfortable. A protective TPU rand runs around the entirety of the boot to bolster durability and soften the blow of rocks and roots. A TPU heel insert helps to keep your foot comfortably in place even on uneven terrain or steep slopes.
Underfoot for heavy loads and long-days on the move: An ergonomic midsole and nylon insole with fiberglass reinforcement offer cushioning and increase comfort. The supportive yet flexible platform delivers all-day underfoot protection and enhanced stability for descending or climbing rocky ridges.
Confident grip and traction: The boot's Vibram WTC rubber outsole features an aggressive tread pattern in a minimalistic profile that provides a natural feel for optimal traction without excess weight. It ensures optimal performance for moving across rock, hard-packed trails, or softer surfaces in both dry and wet conditions.
