The waterproof Salewa Men's Pedroc PTX trail shoe reflects Salewa's revered alpine heritage of stellar durability, superior traction, and blister-less fit, but trims weight and enhances responsiveness for thru-hiking and fast-and-light trekking.

Description

  • Salewa's 3F system creates an anatomical, precision fit : Mirroring the asymmetry of the human foot and resulting in less movement in the heel, less rubbing, and less potential for blisters, the system uses a "Y"-shaped wire connection to spread the lacing three-dimensionally to hug the entire foot and better control the movement of the heel.
  • The upper's construction effectively balances weight, stability, and durability: The shoe's ripstop upper is highly abrasion-resistant while being far more breathable and flexible than leather. A PFC-free waterproof/breathable membrane keeps your foot dry and comfortable. A protective TPU rand softens the blow or rocks and roots.
  • Underfoot support and performance for whatever the trail serves up: An ergonomic EVA midsole offers low-bulk cushioning and the Pomoca rubber outsole with strategically placed lugs provides an excellent heel-to-toe transition, sheds debris to keep you upright even in sloppy conditions, and ensures long-term durability.
