A streamlined version of a classic Salewa shoe the low-cut Women's Mountain Trainer Lite GTX is built for technical hiking. It offers flexibility fit and weather protection and a balance of supportiveness and responsiveness to keep you moving all day long.
Salewa's 3F system creates an anatomical fit that works with the asymmetry of the human foot and results in less movement in the heel less rubbing and less potential for blisters. A "Y"-shaped wire connection spreads the lacing three-dimensionally to hug the entire foot and better control the movement of the heel.
A highly abrasion-resistant synthetic upper provides excellent durability and structural support without excess weight or bulk. A waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable and a partial rubber rand bolster protection against rocks and roots.
Underfoot an ergonomic EVA midsole offers low-bulk cushioning and a nylon insole enhances fit and comfort. A durable Pomoca rubber outsole has an aggressive tread pattern to tackle all types of terrain.
