Description

Lightweight synthetic upper balances support, breathability, weather protection, and durability: The engineered mesh upper is flexible, comfortable, and extremely breathable. Strategic overlays bolster durability in key wear areas without inhibiting cooling airflow. Salomon's SensiFIT construction cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot. A minimalist toe cap takes the sting out of rocks and roots, and a waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX lining helps keep your foot dry and comfortable.
Deep cushioning that maintains structure and rebound mile after mile: The shoe's optiFOAM2 midsole offers excellent cushioning and shock absorption. It also provides high-energy rebound to keep you moving forward, maintain a natural stride, and reduce fatigue. An OrthoLite insole is molded to match the contours of your foot, provide cushioning, and enhance breathability and overall comfort.
Gravel bike-inspired traction: The shoe's Contagrip has a tread pattern and rubber compound that allow you to confidently transition back and forth between asphalt, gravel, and packed dirt. It keeps you upright on wet or dry surfaces so you can confidently pound out the miles regardless of conditions.
