Description

Abrasion-resistant welded upper for a chafe-free fit with waterproof performance: The smooth, welded design of the upper shrugs off abrasion to extend the life of the shoe and fits closely without feeling overly tight or restrictive. A GORE-TEX waterproof/breathable lining keeps your feet dry through puddles, wet grass, and rain. A speed lacing system helps to minimize weight and fuss.
Midsole construction offers a softened step with lateral stability: The shoe utilizes lightweight and responsive Energy foam to find a nice middle ground between cushioning and underfoot support while a built-in "chassis" helps to stabilize the midfoot and position your foot for an efficient, supported stride.
Confident traction regardless of the surface:: The shoe's versatile All Terrain Contagrip rubber outsole balances durability and flexible responsiveness so you stay upright on wet or dry surfaces and on hard-packed or loose terrain.

Sold in pairs, the Salomon Men's Genesis GTX trail running shoe is available in a standard width and men's full and half sizes. With a 34mm heel and a 26mm forefoot, the shoe has a moderate 8mm drop.
