Designed for gear-intensive day-long adventures, the streamlined Salomon Out Day 20+4 pack draws from Salomon's running pack heritage to offer close-fitting performance with trail-oriented organizational and access features.
The pack's Motion suspension system does a fantastic job of balancing weight, fit, and performance. The harness really does take its cue from running-oriented packs, hugging your torso and fitting almost like a vest. A thermo-molded EVA foam backpanel and pivoting, adjustable hipbelt enhance stability and load balance while still providing you with a full range of movement. Load lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap allow you to fine-tune fit. To ensure an appropriate fit, the pack is available in Small/Medium (best fits 17"-19.5" torso lengths) and Medium/Large (19"-21.5" torsos) size options.
The top-loading pack offers over 1400 cubic inches of internal storage. A low-profile top cover with a small zippered interior pocket protects the contents of the pack and opens wide to provide full access to the pack's main compartment. The compartment can also be conveniently accessed through a side zipper.
Other features include stretch side pockets, zippered hipbelt pockets, an open stretch front harness pocket, and a zippered stretch front harness pocket. There are multiple gear attachment points, a trekking pole carry system (poles not included), a stowable ice axe holder (ice axe not included), and an internal sleeve and hanging loop that make the pack bladder compatible (hydration system not included).
