The shoe's welded synthetic upper is highly abrasion-resistant and laterally supportive. A protective toe cap softens the impact of rocks and roots. Fit is assured with the lightweight Quicklace system and a streamlined pocket in the padded and gusseted tongue allows you tuck away any excess lacing.
The midsole utilizes Salomon's Energy Cell + compound to simultaneously deliver underfoot cushioning and energy return. A molded Ortholite sockliner enhances comfort and fit. A firm supportive heel offers excellent on-trail stability. The stack height of the heel is 30mm while the forefoot is 20mm resulting in a 10mm drop.
The shoe's non-marking Contagrip rubber outsole utilizes extremely aggressive Chevron lugs to deliver enhanced traction on a wide range of surfaces and conditions.
