Description

Constructed of durable, abrasion resistant alloy and equipped with an accompanying strainer lid, the Sea to Summit Alpha Pot is ideal for backpacking excursions.

The hard-anodized pot is lightweigth and durable. A textured base allows it to sit more stably atop a backpacking stove (stove sold separately). Stamped graduations inside the pot make for clear mealtime measurements. The pot also includes an integrated strainer lid and a convenient folding handle that connects to the top of the lid when it's time to pack up.

Sold individually, the Sea to Summit Alpha Pot is available in 1.2L (6.6 oz/3.8" x 5.7"), 1.9L (8.1 oz/6.5" x 4.7"), 2.7L (9.6 oz/4.7" x 7.2"), and 3.7L (11.9 oz/5.3" x 8") size options.

Very nifty! Light and strong. Good folding handle. Secures well when out and holds lid on when stowed. Also has a silicon tab on inside of lid to hold lid onto pot at a 90’ angle while cooking.

Didn’t come with a fortune cookie inside.

Anodized coating began to come off on first wash

The anodized coating started to come off the pot the first time we washed it. Now there’s a dull gray powder coming off into our food. Who knows what effect that chemical may have on your body. There’s a tiny warning on the bottom of the packaging not to wash in the washer. Easy to miss. Recommend to heed it. For this price point, I do not expect the pot to fall apart immediately like a cheap discount store special. Do not recommend. Would not buy again. Would consider to avoid the Sea to Summit brand entirely.
