The Sea to Summit Escapist Evo Tarp is especially designed for performance-demanding thru-hikers and ounce-counting backpackers. Despite weighing in at less than a pound, the hiking pole-pitched silnylon shelter provides protective coverage, long-term durability, and a sturdy pitch even in wet and windy conditions.

Description

Ultra-lightweight, weather-resistant versatility: The tarp RCS-certified recycled and bluesign-approved Ultra-Sil LS construction consists of 15D nylon and 30D polyester ripstop. This fabrication reduces water absorption, dries fast, and ensures a taught pitch. A curved catenary shape reduces edge flutter in high winds.
User-friendly pitch adjustability: The tarp is easily pitched with trekking poles and included line tensioners and reinforced tie-out points allow for quick adjustments. Guy lines can be removed entirely if not needed or for tangle-free storage.
Your choice of sizes: The tarp is available in Medium (weighs 9.2 ounces with in-use dimensions of 102.4" x 79.1") and Large (14.7 ounces; 126" x 112.2") sizes. For added protection, use with the Sea to Summit Escapist Mesh Bug Shelter and/or Escapist Groundsheet (both sold separately).
