The Sea to Summit Traveller TrII is an incredibly versatile sleeping bag. Its 30 degree temperature rating allows it to offer backpackers, campers, and travelers with mild-weather warmth. It can also double as a bag liner, a hammock overbag, or a lightweight quilt.
Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties, the feathers and fibers of down have an incredibly soft, comfortable feel and, despite advances in synthetic materials, continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one inherent weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet, but the bag's 750+ RDS-certified Ultra-Dry Down performs differently. Ensuring consistent thermal performance, a hydrophobic treatment enables the insulation to stay dry longer and dry faster if it should become wet than traditional down insulation.
Ultra-lightweight 15D face fabrics combine with horizontal baffled-construction to protect the insulation while keeping weight to a minimum and maximizing compressibility. A full-length zipper enables the hoodless bag to be opened up completely for use as a quilt. Shoulder and foot drawstrings allow you to cinch either end closed to maximize warmth. With the ends opened, you can enjoy enhanced ventilation or even use the Traveller TrII as an overbag if you're hammock camping (hammock not included). Being so lightweight and packable, the versatile bag can also serve as a warmth-enhancing liner.
The Sea to Summit Traveller TrII sleeping bag is available in your choice of Regular (fits to 6’ 0”) and Large (fits to 6’ 4”) size options. An Ultra-Sil compression stuff sack is included with each bag.
