Essential for morning coffee

Keeps the coffee hot longer during the sunrises in the backcountry. I'm an ounce counter but to me...this is worth the little extra weight to enjoy that morning joe. BTW I dont cut my toothbrush to save weight.....

GREAT FOR KEEPING MY COFFEE WARMER

Great combination with my SP 450ml cup and it did keep my coffee a lot hotter and a lot longer. A lot of the complaints were that this lid does not seal well with the cup, and its true. The rubber seal on this lid is very thin. My fix for this situation, I had several inexpensive to-go mugs that I take from home to work for my coffee. I just took one of those lids, took the thicker rubber seal and replaced it with the Snow Peak lid and that was it. Overall everything works great.

Must Have Lid for 450 Cup

Works great on Snow Peak 450 double wall cups. Definitely holds the heat in your cup and protects your lips sipping hot drinks.

Perfect balance

Likes

Perfect balance of keeping debris out of your cup but not so tight that you may risk a coffee explosion trying to take it off. Remember, this only works with the double wall mug. I had other plastic mugs and the lid was so tight that you had to be careful not to make a mess. Lids are great for keeping out hemlock needles, bugs etc in the backcountry and keeping your drink warmer longer. Backcountry Edge rocks.
