The pant employs rugged GORE-TEX Pro 3L construction. The highly-durable nylon fabric is windproof and fends off even heavy precipitation. Fully-taped seams further ensure weather protection. Ripstop nylon on the behind and across the knees reinforces traditional high-wear points. Ruffed nylon and Kevlar kick patches bolster the inside of the leg in expectation of abrasion and contact with boot treads and crampons. The pant includes removable and adjustable suspenders and has an integrated belt. The waist has a two-way zippered fly and a snap closure.
Other features include two-way full-length side zippers articulated knees zippered thigh pockets adjustable snap ankle closures and integrated protective gaiters.
