The North Face Men's Ventrix Hoodie has garnered awards for its ability to provide temperature regulation for aerobic outdoor activities in varying conditions. It effectively walks the tightrope between keeping you warm and saving you from overheating.
This technical jacket uses strategic construction to ensure that you get warmth where and when you need it while still being able to dump excess heat during high exertion. The base component is the 60g Ventrix polyester stretch synthetic insulation. This low-profile insulation provides warmth even if wet and it dries incredibly quickly. The body of the jacket is constructed of nylon with a touch of elastane so that the fabric along with the insulation can stay in place without inhibiting movement. While not fully waterproof the jacket's fabrics are highly water-resistant and extremely breathable. Micro-perforations in the backpanel enhance the jacket's ability to dump excess heat. An insulated close-fitting hood extends coverage.
Other features include a full-length front zipper zippered handwarmer pockets a zippered chest pocket elastic cuffs and a hem cinch-cord.
