The Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp sleeping pad offers 2 inches of foam for cozy, affordable comfort. Lightweight yet durable, it boasts a 6.0 R-value for reliable year-round warmth that's perfect for campers!

Description

  • Thick and comfortable for a great night's sleep: The BaseCamp's solid foam core creates a stable sleeping surface and the face fabric is soft and light for next-to-skin comfort. The two-inch thick mattress smooths out any bumps or roots underneath.
  • All-season warmth for versatility: The insulating foam of the pad delivers an R-value of 6.0, making it warm enough to use in all but the coldest of conditions.
  • Self-inflating convenience: The compressible foam core expands when you open the mattress valve for inflation, and is easily topped off with a few breaths to reach your desired firmness.

Sizing, inflation and storage
The Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp is available in three sizes; Regular (72" x 20"), Large (77" x 25") and XLarge (77" x 30") and comes with a stuff sack for easy storage. The dual-function WingLock valve maximizes air flow for inflation while allowing for quick deflation. The valve's wings toggle for one-way inflation to save breath during setup.

This pad is truly an example of the old adage ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’. There have been many versions of this model over the years, and through them all the Basecamp has reliably delivered durability and comfort. Even if it’s on the larger and slightly bulkier side, this is a great pad for any kind of car camping, especially when temps dip lower than expected thanks to a forgiving R-value that will provide you with a restful slumber.
