Description

With an ultra-lightweight design, the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite inflatable sleeping pad is built for ounce-counting backpackers. The mattress utilizes an integrated truss system and a heat-reflecting interior to achieve a 3.2 R-value.

Unlike the limited number of vertical baffles employed by most traditional inflatable pads, the NeoAir XLite utilizes horizontal air baffles. While minimizing convective cooling, Therm-a-Rest's Triangular Core Matrix technology and the increased number of baffles help to increase stability and avoid the "inflatable raft" feeling caused by overinflated vertical baffles. In addition, a patent-pending internal reflective barrier actually directs heat back to your body and cold air back to the ground!

The inflatable construction provides a full 2.5" thick support base. Ultra-lightweight, high-tenacity materials offer durability while maintaining an incredibly light packed weight. And soft, textured non-slip surface fabrics offer next-to-skin comfort that’s also quiet when you move around on the mattress. When deflated the NeoAir XLite packs down as small as a 1-Liter water bottle.

The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite is available in Small (20" x 47"), Regular (20" x 72") and Large (25" x 77") size options. Adding additional value, a stuff sack and field repair kit are included.

  • Updated fabrics for greater comfort and a quieter rest
  • Suitable for 3-Season use

As good as they say

Likes

Upgraded from a Klymit Static V and would hate to go back now. The XLite is light, packs small, works great with my quilt, and is very comfortable. After a few trips I've found I prefer it at about 90% full. That keeps it soft but full enough to never feel the ground.

Dislikes

A bit loud when rolling over, but no worse than any other pad we have.

Ultralight and Comfortable

Likes

I like how lightweight this pad is. It weights only 6.7 oz on my scale! It doesn't take so many breaths to inflate it like the regular size and it takes very little space on my pack. I'm a side sleeper so it works well even though is narrower at the hips. I'm 6.4" and it comes almost to my knees. I use my backpack for padding under my legs.

Dislikes

This pad is a little narrower at the hips than the regular size pad. It may not be for everyone. If your main goal is to cut on weight then it may be for you.

Very light, comfortable

Likes

Extremely light, packs small. Fairly comfortable to sleep on, but if you're tall/wide shoulders, definitely get the 25" wider version

Dislikes

Slightly noisy when turning on it at night. Not too bad though. Putting down a light fabric layer on top helps with the noise.

The Best of the Best

Likes

Just like the 1989 movie, The Best of the Best, this sleeping pad really kicks butt. It packs down small, is light and very comfortable. On top of that it will keep you warm on chilly nights. ♤♡◇♧ Also, I used this in conjunction with the Thermarest NeoAir mini air pump and it works great. It basically gets you to 90% and you top off to your desired firmness. I'd say its definitely worth it.

Dislikes

I purchased R (regular) size and as a 5'11" @ 205lbs 44R jacket, felt it was a little small. I felt my arms would hang off the sides when I was lying on my back. I may decide to swap for the Long which will also give you a few more inches on either side.

Great Pad

Likes

I thought this pad was amazing. It was super light and compact for carrying and inflated rather easily. I inflated it by mouth. It was great for a large guy like, i never touched the floor and didn't have to re inflate at all. It was a lot for comfortable to sleep on than I expected. Would highly recommend.

Dislikes

My only dislike on this pad is the price. It is very expensive but it works great. The lifetime warranty on this also gives me a little piece of mind having spent that much on a sleeping pad.

Great job

Likes

Small, light, less breaths to fill, comfy, warm.

Dislikes

Knowing that mold is living inside the pad is gross, so try not to breathe it in while blowing it up.

Great product, great customer service!

Replaced my old Big Agnes pad with the Xlite large, dropped a pound in pack weight and improved comfort. Had a question during the process, called BE and someone promptly picked up and gave me the right answers. Very happy with this purchase.

Therm-a-rest is my go to

Light! Thick! Make as firm as you want

Dislikes

Noisy Be careful if you try to fill this outside of your tent, it's easily punctured, but easy to repair at home.

Light, Warm, and easy to use.

When you think of comfort and Ultralight pads, this pad wins every time, especially when you find it on sale as I did, during the monthly members sale at the beginning of each month, I scored this pad for $87 along with a my20 discount code. Slept at 30 degrees twice, and my body was never bothered by the cold new mexico ground in early March of 2019. Pack down size is phenomenal and at 12oz you have found an incredible pad for night time rest.
