Extreme cold and challenging conditions make demands that not just any sleeping bag can address. Luckily, the award-winning Therm-a-Rest Polar Ranger -20 Degree isn't just any sleeping bag. It utilizes premium materials and cutting edge design features and technology to keep you warm and protected and, amazingly, does so at less than 3.5 pounds!

The bag is insulated with 800 fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down. This specially treated down absorbs 90% less water and dries 3 times faster if it does become wet than traditional untreated down insulation. It's also manufactured without using dangerous PFCs. Recycled nylon ripstop shell fabric and a DWR treatment further protect against the elements.

The bag's mummy shape also enhances overall thermal efficiency while helping to keep weight to a minimum. An ingenious Snorkel Hood enables you to pull warmth close while still breathing freely and giving your exhaled breath a way to escape instead of leading to condensation and wetting out. Integrated side vents allow you to customize temperature and also give you use of your arms without having to exit the bag. Overlapping internal draft tubes make sure that cold air doesn't find its way in when you've pulled your arms back into the bag.

Other features include snag-free zippers, a tilted comfort-enhancing toebox with a "Toe-asis" pocket to stow a heat-producing hand/foot warmer (warmer sold separately), an insulated draft collar and overstuffed draft tubes, an interior stash pocket, and integrated SynergyLink Connectors that secure the bag to your sleeping pad (pad sold separately) to keep you settled in place throughout the night and maximize the efficiency of your sleep system.

The Therm-a-Rest Polar Ranger -20 Degree sleeping bag is available in your choice of Regular (fits up to 6' 0") and Long (fits to 6' 6") lengths. A stuff sack and storage sack are included.
