Perfect for this old back

Light weight, durable and flexible. Insulates well. Used in conjunction with Sea To Summit inflatable pad. I found that most 3" inflatable pads don't give enough resistance/support. So I got a thinner self inflating pad and combined it with this foam pad. Best of both worlds. I can use this alone outside the tent. Prolongs the life of the inflatable one too.

Price. It's foam. Not gold.

Good insulation on frozen ground and it seems to be very durable and lightweight.

It takes up a lot of space in or on the pack. Very bulky.
