Description

Built with plenty of room for two, the Therm-a-Rest Vela Double 32 Degree quilt provides comfort and flexibility for 3-season adventures. Snaps around the perimeter and an included loop kit allow you to match the quilt with a compatible Therm-a-Rest mattress, quilt, sleeping bag, blanket or sheet (all sold separately).

The quilt is insulated with 650 Fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down. This means you enjoy the renowned compressibility and warmth-to-weight ratio of down, but with an added bonus. This specially treated down absorbs less water and dries dramatically faster than traditional untreated down if it does get wet. Box baffled construction helps to maximize the insulation’s loft and keeps the down from migrating within the quilt which could otherwise lead to cold spots and inconsistent warmth.

The double-wide quilt can be used alone or used in tandem with a sleeping pad (pad sold separately). Integrated perimeter side baffles and a snap neck closure help to seal out cold and an ergonomic footbox can slip over a pad to add extra warmth.

The Therm-a-Rest Vela Double 20 Degree quilt fits to 6’ 6” and includes a stuff sack and a storage sack.

Light weight good for 2 and can be used for 1 true to temp rating of comfortable to 30 degrees

Great cold weather quilt for 2

This quilt is very warm, soft and fits around a double size air pad. It's relatively light for the warmth it gives and is compact once pushed in it's small sack. It feels like a quality blanket.

Storage size is larger than I thought it would be.

Nice Quilt!

Took it to the Tetons and at 8000’ it got down to High 20s/30. Slept in base layers and only cold parts were head. Pretty comfy.

Dislikes

Would be ideal if it came with band to keep quilt from moving around.

Perfect for backpacking couples

Originally I purchased the Vela 32 but decided to step up to the Vela 20. It's so light and easy to carry for two people very warm. And we got the Thermarest down coupler to go with it. The snap system is great. Way more functional than my single person EE quilt. My wife loves it. And will grab it on a chilly night at home as well.

Dislikes

Wish there was a way to cinch down the quilt at the head opening.
