Well balanced for a variety of snowy conditions, the Tubbs Wilderness snowshoes have easy to use bindings with a comfortable fit, plenty of traction, and a heel lift to reduce fatigue on climbs so you can enjoy your wintry hike.
The durable Soft-Tec synthetic decking is secured to a tubular aluminum frame and provides reliable, lightweight flotation. Designed with slightly upturned, rounded tails, innovative Fit-Step 2.0 frames reduce impact on hip, knee, and ankle joints.
The Quick-Fit binding system provides a supportive, comfortable fit that's easy and intuitive to use when putting on or taking off the snowshoes. The binding's EZ Heel Buckle is also adjustable and easy to use. Fold-up heel lifts improve performance on steep slopes and help to reduce fatigue.
These snowshoes are outfitted with carbon steel Cobra Toe crampons for good grip and constant contact under the ball of the foot. Additional heel crampons maximize traction and stability on varied terrain.
Sold in pairs, Tubbs Wilderness snowshoes are available in 21, 25, and 30 inch size options. The 21 inch model is recommended to best support a total weight (snowshoes, user, and any gear being carried) of 80 to 150 pounds, the 25 inch is best for a range between 120 and 200 pounds, and the 30 inch is best for a range between 170 and 250 pounds.
