The award-winning UltrAspire Alpha 5.0 running vest is a culmination of UltrAspire's design experience and runner feedback to create a pack with exceptional functionality and comfort. Despite weighing just 9.6 ounces, the pack has ample storage, great organization, and an absolutely dialed fit.
The fine mesh fabric of the pack maximizes breathability and next-to-skin comfort. Soft perimeter fabrics further enhance comfort. Dual hook-and-pull chest straps allow you to fine tune fit and eliminate "bounce" when packed at any capacity. The pack is available in Small (best fits chest sizes of 31"-36"), Medium (34"-39"), and Large (37"-42") size options.
A large stretch pocket on the back of the pack has a 350 cubic inch storage capacity and is capable of housing a hydration system (sold separately). An insulated panel is included that can be placed either in front of or behind the reservoir. If not needed, you can remove it entirely. Other pockets include two stretch lateral pockets that are positioned to allow on-the-go access with matching zippered pockets on the outer fabric, a small stretch pocket on the upper harness, a water-resistant magnet-closure pocket that is perfect for stowing electrolytes, and two large stretch mesh harness pockets. The upper harness pocket has an elastic drawstring system that can be used to secure larger items, like a phone or soft flask (sold separately). The pack also has bungee-corded gear and trekking pole attachments on the back.
