Ideal for longer self-supported adventures or extended-length endurance racing, the top-loading UltrAspire Epic XT pack has a full 25L (1526 cubic inch) capacity and a ton of trail-ready organizational features.
A weight-hauling harness works in tandem with an adjustable wrap-around waistbelt to stabilize your load and promote balance. A lightweight internal frame adds load stability when you need it and can be removed entirely when you don't. The broad, honey-combed mesh fabric that comprises the harness maximizes breathability and next-to-skin comfort. The pack's reinforced XT fabric has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio and is extremely tear-resistant. Dual sternum straps allow you to fine tune fit and eliminate “bounce”. The pack comes in a single size that best fits chests measuring 28"-48".
The large main compartment is accessed beneath a streamlined “lid” that also serves as a large zippered top pocket. A large stretch mesh pocket runs across the lower portion of the back of the pack and compression straps running over the pocket help to keep the contents of the pack safely secured. Those straps also enable you to stash additional gear externally. An insulated bladder compartment accommodates up to a 3L hydration system (not included). Two large stretch pockets on the front harness comfortably carry water bottles (not included). There are numerous other harness pockets to keep essentials organized and in close reach. The pack also features ice axe loops and shock cord attachments for trekking poles.
