A roomy, versatile option for 3-season camping, the freestanding Mountainsmith Morrison Evo 4 strikes an excellent balance between price and performance.

With a trail weight of 7 pounds, 1 ounce, the tent offers 56 square feet of usable interior space and a peak height of 4’ 3”. A 7000 series aluminum pole system utilizes a short brow pole section to increase interior space and enhance the feeling of livability inside the tent. Dual vestibules combine to provide an additional 22 square feet of combined sheltered space in front of the tent’s two doors. This space is ideal for storing gear or wet, muddy boots.

Clip and sleeve construction makes it easy to connect the 68D polyester body of the tent to the poles. Mesh construction in the walls of the tent body and vents in the PU-coated 68D rainfly help to promote airflow to combat condensation. Mountainsmith further ensures watertight performance with fully taped seams and bathtub floor construction. Reflective guylines provide visibility for those times when you need to set up after dark. Mountainsmith also includes a detachable ceiling loft pocket to provide overhead storage.

An included footprint further protects the floor of the tent against ground water, roots and rocks. In warm weather or to save weight, you can leave the tent body behind and use the rainfly, the poles, and the footprint to reduce packed weight to 5 pounds.
