Description

With its lightweight anatomical design all-terrain traction waterproof lining and premium hybrid-constructed upper the Asolo Men's Nucleon Mid GV boot is a great option for hikers and ounce-counting backpackers.

The boot's mid-height upper is a high-performance combination of water-resistant suede and supple abrasion-resistant Schoeller soft shell fabric. The result is a supportive durable boot with nimbleness and out-of-the-box wearability that surpasses traditional full-leather hiking boots. A waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry and comfortable.

A high-density EVA midsole and an anatomic footbed provide support and cushioning. Designed in collaboration with Vibram the Synthesis rubber outsole employs a MegaGrip compound to maintain a low profile while maximizing all-terrain traction. The strategic lug pattern is also effective at shedding mud and debris.

Sold in pairs the Asolo Men's Nucleon Mid GV hiking boot is available in men's full and half sizes.

the nucleon does not hold up to old Asolo cactus boot

lightest weight boot in class , and durable vibram sole, and durable.

Dislikes

There is virtually no airflow causing sweaty feet, and smelly boots. The major flaw in this boot is in the stance. They caused my feet to supinate and irritate the peroneal tendon(ankle tendon)
