Featuring a host of bikepacking-friendly features, the Big Agnes Blacktail Hotel 3 Bikepack tent provides 3-season reliability, long-term durability, excellent internal livability, and a huge front vestibule so you don't have to leave your bikes or anything else outside at the end of the day!
Catering to cyclists, the tent has integrated helmet stashes on its exterior, a super durable compression stuff sack which attaches conveniently to bike frames in various configurations, and innovative 12" Shortstik poles which enable things to pack down small for packing on handlebars or stowing in panniers or saddlebags.
Measuring 90" x 70", the tent has a generous 44 square foot interior that comfortably houses up to 3 inhabitants. Large doors on either side of the tent offer easy entry and exit. An enormous vestibule in front of one of the doors has pole-supported structure and includes a side-entry so you can easily store boots, packs, and tons of other gear. While still allowing access to the interior of the tent. A smaller quick-access vestibule at the other door combines with the large vestibule to provide a total of 28 square feet of protected external storage!
Interior mesh pockets provide places to stash gear and clothes while media pockets enable headphone/ear bud cord routing from phones or other devices. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Square Gear Loft (sold separately).
The tent's aluminum poles offer sturdy, freestanding structure. Prebends in the poles provide enhanced verticality to the walls of the tent which enhances livability by creating better elbow room above the floor. Lightweight aluminum stakes are included to further ensure a taut pitch.
Ample mesh on the tent body and its large doors encourages cross ventilation and provides circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane, the polyester floor and rainfly offer excellent durability and weather protection. All seams are tape sealed.
