It can also serve as a weather-resistant ground cloth in the backyard, at festivals, or wherever you like!

Description

Designed to be used as a cozy warm internal tent footprint, the Big Agnes Insulated Tent Comforter is a soft, weather-resistant blanket that is soft polyester on one side and durable water-resistant nylon ripstop on the bottom. It can also serve as a weather-resistant ground cloth in the backyard, at festivals, or wherever you like!

The blanket is insulated with FireLine ECO Synthetic Insulation which is made of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. It has high loft, compressibility, and an excellent weight-to-warmth ratio.

Integrated adjustable corner hooks allow you to attach the Insulated Tent Comforter to the gear loops found inside many Big Agnes tents. Ten 3M adhesive snap patches are included that allow you to blanket directly to any tent floor or pretty much wherever else you want to secure it. The Big Agnes Snap Patch Accessory Kit can be purchased separately if you need additional attachment points.

The Big Agnes Insulated Tent Comforter is available in 2-Person (58" x 90") and 4-Person (90" x 90") size options. When not in use, it stows neatly inside its own zippered pocket.

  • Whether in the backcountry, at the park or a summer concert, lie the water-resistant side down to create a barrier between you and the ground, or wrap the cozy, insulated side around you for an extra thermal boost
  • Designed to pack and travel easily – packs inside its own zipper pocket
  • Use the soft, insulated side towards you as a plush quilted blanket
  • Use the highly water-resistant side down to keep you, your loved ones and your gear dry
  • Secure your Insulated Tent Comforter over your sleep system as an extra layer of warmth, or underneath your sleep system as an insulated tent floor with the integrated hooks and included snap patches
  • Four corners have adjustable webbing and hooks to attach comforter to gear loops in your tent
  • Lightweight, soft poly-taffeta material on one side and super durable, highly water resistant material on the other side
  • Includes 10 3M snap patches
  • FireLine ECO Synthetic Insulation - 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Features low denier fibers that are tightly woven and provide high loft, compressibility, high weight-to-warmth ratio and durability

An Option for Warmth

Likes

I like to keep options when camping. This floor piece allows me to do that. When it's warm outside, I save myself the bulk. When it's cold, I plan on bringing it. It's also a nice extra layer of protection for the tent. And, as an added bonus, makes moving around in your tent at night a little bit quieter.

Dislikes

Not much to dislike, really. It could be a little darker, a color that doesn't show dirt quite as much. As a floor to a tent, it wouldn't hurt just to ahead and make it in dirt color, right?
