Ideal for fast-and-light backpacking trips, the Big Agnes Kings Canyon UL Quilt offers unrestricted freedom of movement and can be used to create an ultra-lightweight sleep system. Combine the synthetic-insulated quilt with any Big Agnes sleeping pad (sold separately) to make your set up lighter and more comfortable.

Filled with lightweight PrimaLoft Hi-Loft Ultra Silver synthetic insulation, the quilt weighs right around a pound. Unlike down, synthetic insulation retains its ability to insulate even if it becomes wet. A nylon ripstop shell with a DWR treatment further protects the insulation from the elements and a polyester taffeta lining helps to wick moisture and enhance comfort.

Unlike many cocoon-like sleeping bags this uniquely-shaped quilt offers freedom of movement and enhanced ventilation on balmy nights.

The Big Agnes Kings Canyon UL Quilt includes a storage sack and a stuff sack.

I love this thing. It performs way above its R value. I originally picked it up for Spring/Summer hiking, but I used it through the fall and early winter as well. I've had this thing out in low to mid 40's nights and I've been perfectly comfortable. I do tend to sleep warm so if you're a cold sleeper results may vary. This is definitely a versatile piece of kit though. I keep it in my day pack on our cold weather hikes. It has replaced my military poncho liner (Wooby). The kids love to wrap up in it when we stop for lunch.

Dislikes

I love the snap system for securing it to my mat, but I can see how some people might find it annoying.
