Great Summer Hiking Sock

I use Darn Tough Hiker Boot Socks with Full Cushion for colder weather hiking and decided to try the 1/4 length version with just a little less cushioning. These socks still provide a really nice level of cushion and are cooler for warmer weather. They also make great socks for stream crossings, as there’s less ankle height to dry out afterwards. I like the Boot length Darn Tough socks, these socks seem indestructible.

Last socks I'll buy, maybe

I bought five pair of these guys and they are all I wear now. They are soft, comfortable, and have more cushion than I expected to get. With a lifetime warranty, I should be set for socks for life. I find that my feet do not feel sweaty and nasty at the end of the day. Love these socks.

They are a little tight after going thru the washer and dryer but that made them snug and glove like in the way they fit.

Great sox for dayhikes, light backpacking.

Lightweight, yet padded sole. Breathable. Good socks for long day hikes and light backpacking with running shoes or low cut hiking shoes. Wool content helps somewhat with feet funk and blisters.

These socks are incredibly comfortable, incredibly durable, and perfect for 3-season hiking. I used to wear other well-known brands, but these DarntTough's aren't unnecessarily bulky but still contain just a little cushion to keep them comfortable. If you want a little thicker sock, then the DarnTough Hike-Trek is also nice and is still not as bulky as other trekking socks.
