The inflatable Exped SynMat UL sleeping pad delivers 3-season backpacking functionality and comfort by employing FlatValve technology lightweight construction and baffled air chambers.

Description

The inflatable Exped SynMat UL sleeping pad delivers 3-season backpacking functionality and comfort by employing FlatValve technology lightweight construction and baffled air chambers.

Inflatable construction provides 2.8 inches of comfortable support. High-performance laminated polyester fabric is airtight and slip-proof and offers both UV and abrasion resistance. A layer of microfiber insulation is laminated to the bottom and top of each baffled air chamber lending the pad an R-value of 3.3.

Glues used in sleeping pad construction are often broken down by moisture but Exped's proprietary fabric lamination process creates airtight baffles and prevents potentially destructive moisture and bacteria from building up in the pad and destroying the glues. Exped includes a Schnozzel Pumpbag that saves you from huffing and puffing during inflation and keeps potentially destructive moisture from finding its way into the interior of the pad.

Many inflatable sleeping pads fail due to their valve construction but Exped's FlatValve technology eliminates the stiff edge commonly found around traditional valves. This results in lasting durable valve construction for the life of the pad.

The Exped SynMat UL is available in Small (64.1" x 20.5") Medium (72.1" x 20.5") Medium/Wide (72".1 x 25.6") and Long/Wide (77.6" x 25.6") lengths.

Add 4 oz and get the UL Winter

No complaints about this medium size pad, but preferred to add $30 and 4 oz. to get the added thickness (comfort) and warmth of the UL Winter instead.

Lightweight and worked extremely well with the provided pump sack. I am a side and stomach sleeper and had no problem.
