Designed for extremely cold or wet conditions, the water-resistant, breathable Outdoor Research Frostline Hat has a retractable, tuck-away fabric face mask, fleece-lined earflaps and a snap-up foam brim.

Description

Designed for extremely cold or wet conditions the Outdoor Research Frostline Hat utilizes an ultralight water-resistant breathable Pertex Endurance fabric exterior and Posh Pile fleece lining to provide excellent protection. A zip-out Thermodynamic fabric face mask with a pocket for easy storage provides an option for extra warmth and protection from inclement weather.

The Frostline Hat's foam brim can be snapped to the crown for improved vision and the fleece-lined earflaps can be easily secured with a hook and loop closure. An external drawcord allows for easy adjustment.

The Outdoor Research Frostline Hat is sold in multiple sizes and your choice of colors.

Very warm hat

Very warm, dont need too much space, have option to cover mouth and nose

Velcro sticks on the neck of the jacket or sweater if you do not join it with the other side

I bought this hat for my son who plays in the high school band for practices and he really likes it. He says it is light weight and warm. He also uses it playing airsoft.

Dislikes

Really nothing, but he doesn't think it would be warm in extremely cold temperatures.
