Description

The lightweight, innovative Gregory 3D Hydro Reservoir features baffled construction that cuts down on "slosh" and works in tandem with an integrated hanger allow it to dry quickly when not in use.

The BPA-free reservoir has a fill port and a built-in handle that provide convenience when refilling. Three-dimensional construction allows the reservoir to fit more comfortably inside your pack than traditional unstructured reservoirs. A magnetic bite valve delivers an excellent flow rate and secures to an included magnet that can be fixed to your backpack’s sternum strap to keep the drinking hose at the ready but out of your way when not in use.

The Gregory 3D Hydro Reservoir is available in your choice of 2 liter or 3 liter capacities.

  • 3D QuickDry: Soft-molded 3D design prevents contact between top and bottom layers when hanging open, dramatically speeding drying time and discouraging bacteria growth
  • QuickDry Hanger: A convenient option for storage or hang drying on or off the trail, integrated into the reservoir itself
  • SpeedClip Mounting System: 3D Hydro enabled Gregory packs feature a one-handed Lock-And-Go linkage between the Crescent Handle and the SpeedClip system mounted inside the packs hydration sleeve
  • Anatomical Fit: 3D form and full-length baffle properly distribute the weight of the reservoir by positioning the water flat against your back for optimal stability and comfort. without adding weight and cylindrical bulk

Great design and execution

I own water reservoirs by Camelbak, Deuter, and Platypus besides this new Gregory. The Camelbaks are fine, but from many years ago, so they have run their course. The Platypus mouthpiece leaks, so I have designated it a failure. The Deuter is a very good product, my go-to for the last few years. This Gregory is an excellent product. My favorite points of design are (1) the bladder divider and (2) the hook. The divider is a fantastic addition; a transverse piece inside the bladder allows the front and rear to remain separated to facilitate easy drying, which is a huge issue with all other bladders I mentioned. I've been using a big cardboard tube until now. The hook makes for even easier drying, a perfect companion for the above design, and it rotates to allow for use to dry or drink. In addition, the mouthpiece is simple to work and dispenses more fluid than all the others I've mentioned with less work. The cap is tight when the Gregory logo is level and upright. No added taste to water. WINNER.

I haven't used this extensively yet, but I love everything about it. I also love that it comes with a magnet system for my pack. I was easily able to fit this into both a 40L and a 75L.

Solid Reservoir

Hard top feels sturdy when hung in a backpack, wide enough mouth, baffled design and contoured to fit against your back.

Does the job

This is a great reservoir. The magnetic clip is pretty handing and easy to use. Easy to fill.

It would be nice if there was a little more rigidity near fill spout but, that's a minor gripe.

This thing is large and holds a lot of water. The magnetic holder that attaches to your pack strap is a nice touch.
