The Gregory Baltoro 100 Pro internal frame backpack takes the award-winning Baltoro design to the next level with capacity for true expeditions and extended backpacking trips. A heavy-duty frame and a suspension system equipped with thick foam and sturdy support panels along with abrasion-resistant fabrics make the pack suitable for all-around rugged adventures and extended outdoor living.
Gregory has equipped the pack with a high-performance suspension system that comfortably supports loads up to 75 pounds, as well as an extended frame length to support its large capacity. Designed to flex with the natural movements of your body, the FreeFloat A3 suspension utilizes a perimeter alloy steel frame with an anti-barreling cross-stay to help distribute weight evenly and provide superior load stability, comfort, and range of motion. The AirCushion backpanel reduces surface contact for true on-the-back-breathability, wicking moisture and helping you stay dry. High-density, contoured padding in the harness, lumbar area, and hipbelt further enhance both fit and comfort. The pre-curved shoulder straps and hipbelt fins move independently of one another to mirror your every movement on-trail or off. A sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the pack's fit and ensure the stability of your load. All of the suspension components are treated with Polygiene, which is designed to inhibit the growth of odor-causing microbes. The main body of the pack is made with UHMWPE yarn and high-density nylon for superior strength and abrasion resistance.
When it comes to fit, the pack has an adjustable torso panel and hipbelt fins so you can create a fit that's contoured to your form. Available in Small (best fits torso lengths ranging from 16"-19"), Medium (17"-20") and Large (18"-21"), the torso lengths on each size overlap slightly to give you more options when selecting a size. You can size up for longer hipbelts and harnesses, or size down for shorter hipbelts and harnesses-just as long as you fit within the torso range for each pack.
The pack can be accessed through a large front U-shaped zipper, the top drawcord closure, or the lower zippered sleeping bag compartment. A removeable divider separates the main pack body from its lower sleeping bag compartment, allowing for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. The floating lid has two pockets on top-one large and one small-and one with a key clip on the underside, all with zippers for secure storage. You can also remove the lid to save weight if needed and just use the drawcord closure and top webbing compression strap on the upper opening.
When it comes to your gear, if you can haul it, the Baltoro 100 Pro has a place for it. On the front, there's a large stretch mesh pocket with dual zippered pockets on either side, with a floating divider wall between them. The oversized hipbelt pockets have enough space for your cell phone, and there's a canted water bottle holder for easy access that tucks away when not in use. Other features include a side stretch mesh pocket, gear loops for trekking poles or an ice axe, a front harness quick-stow feature for sunglasses, accessory attachment loops for bear spray holsters or accessory pockets (all sold separately) and compression straps on the sides and lower compartment. An integrated sleeve makes the pack hydration compatible (hydration system sold separately). The pack also has toggles to connect the Gregory Nano 14 day pack (sold separately) within the interior.
The Gregory Baltoro 100 Pro backpack is available in your choice of size options.
