The amount of space inside the pack. I know longer have to attach gear to the outside. The backpack is very comfortable to wear with the weight not hanging on your shoulders but going down through the hips to the legs and the shoulders are secondary for weight bearing. I had 46 pounds total of starting weight for my trip including the backpack weight itself. The compression straps are a nice addition. I am pleased with my purchase.

The straps are not bad though they could be a little more heavy duty considering this is a 105 liter pack. The shoulder padding also in my opinion could be a little thicker since you in a lot of cases are packing more weight. I knew about these two areas for improvements before I purchased the backpack. Adding the above to the review so that in the future maybe Kelty will make a new and improved version.

Good Looking But Not Reliable Durability

Very large and a color that blends with nature.
Dislikes
Delicate zippers, pockets, handle and lots of straps that can break with heavy use. Also some parts of the design are going to fail right away, one example is the main handle, very small and poorly attached to the nylon without any re-enforcement, very flimsy, on a heavy 105 litres backpack it will break in no time! Many other parts have the same lack of design toughness that a 105 litre backpack needs. Also, the poor customer service of Kelty is perhaps an indication of how little they care. I asked them for the actual weight capacity of this backpack, still 12 days after nobody answer me!
