A long-time trail favorite, the versatile Kelty Redwing 50 has the storage capacity (3000+ cubic inches) for a day-and-a-half of backcountry hiking and streamlined enough for use as a commuter or travel pack. A host of functional features including torso fit adjustability make it a true do-it-all performer.
The pack’s suspension system is comprised of a lightweight perimeter frame and a ventilated backpanel. Together, these features effectively distribute and balance the weight of heavy backpacking loads while promoting airflow to keep you cool and comfortable. The height-adjustable suspension system allows the pack to accommodate torso lengths ranging from 16-20 inches. The padded and adjustable shoulder straps and hipbelt further aid in stabilization and fit. Fine tuning can be made with load-lifter straps and an elastic sternum strap.
The main compartment of the pack has panel-loading access. You can reach the interior via a large U-shaped zipper that provides wide-open access for convenient loading and unloading. An additional large pocket located on the front panel provides internal organizational options. Other features include zippered side pockets with pass-through access behind them, a stash pocket, side compression straps, ice axe/trekking pole loops, daisy-chain attachment points, and side water bottle pockets. A lined interior sleeve and built-in tube exit point make the pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included).
The Kelty Redwing 50 backpack is available in your choice of color options.
